Oversaw 137 direct and indirect reports with an annual budget of $40MM. • Performed technical and financial due diligence for targeted M&A opportunities.• Established the operations, engineering and facilities organizations, managing their growth in order to satisfy business requirements and support business development activities. • Implemented efficiency and cost reduction programs that reduced manufacturing standard cost by 40-50%.• Served on the ISO Steering Committee for Aradigm. Led the CMC team through successful inspections by FDA, EU and multiple partners. • Developed and managed productivity goals based upon principles of Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing and Total Quality.• Negotiated master supply and intellectual property agreements with Novo-Nordisk, PCI (CMO) and key material and equipment suppliers for the AERx strip and device.• Designed, built and validated two aseptic and device manufacturing facilities and QC laboratories, facilitating the successful negotiation of the commercial agreement with Novo- Nordisk.

Profit center responsibility for five different product lines in the Boehringer-Mannheim Coagulation Diagnostic and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring division. Supervised 66 direct and indirect reports consisting of engineering, manufacturing, QC and facilities/maintenance personnel while managing a $30MM manufacturing operation.
