Worked as well site chemist at drilling rigs, from Jan, 1983 to May, 1989,at Sibsagar, Assam. Worked on different types of mud systems like Conventional Water base muds, CL - CLS muds, Lime base muds, KCl-PHPA polymer mud systems in vertical and directional wells in Gakeky, Lakwa, Rudersagar, Changmai gaon fields.Various problems like stuck up pipe, caving, mud loss, gas and water kicks were successfully handled. b) June, 1989 to May, 2002 Worked in quality control lab of RGL , Mumbai to check the quality of different additives used as Mud chemicals in drilling operations, chemicals for work over/ completion fluids, well stimulation chemicals, Production chemicals, Water injection chemicals used in workover and secondary oil recovery operations and Utility chemicals used in LPG plants. Worked also to formulate and modify the specification of different additives used in different operations of ONGC. Also designed different type of mud systems as per requirement of Mud services of Mumbai offshore. c) From June, 2002 to May, 2005 worked as well site chemist at drilling rigs in the fields of Koraghat, Meerapani, Gholaghat, and Borholla area of Assam & Assam Arakan Basin, Jorhat. d) From June, 2005, to March, 2013 worked at Regional Geoscience lab, ONGC Panvel. working in Petrophysics lab, my main work was : Spectral Gamma ray logging, Basic Petrophysical studies : Grain density, Porosity, Permeability, Special core studies, Resistivity studies at ambient conditions, Formation resistivity factor; a, m and n parameters. Also working in Oil lab to study : Characterization of Crude oils - Phsico-Chemical characterization of crude oils
