Entergy and UNO Research Projects: Interconnection Study of Multiple Solar Plants- Analyzed interconnection of multiple PV plant which allows transmission planning at utility companies to perform better evaluations of the photovoltaic solar plant interconnections to the transmission grid for Entergy Inc. funded Project.-Modeled generator, stabilizer, exciter, and governor & developed a photovoltaic solar plant model in EMTP_RV to inspect interaction between generator model and PV plant during system disturbances-Performed load flow analysis, steady-state & transient analysis, and short circuit analysis in Reduced Entergy Network-Analyzed the impact of increased PV penetration on stability and operation of the grid-Analyzed post fault oscillation sensitivity based on park controller gains and inverter controller gains of PV plants-Implemented Particle Swarm Optimization to optimize park controller gains (Kp, Ki) and voltage control gain(Kv) of PV plants

-Updated existing standard design for Line Protection options to incorporate new standard design changes-Assisted in drafting a design drawing of a new standard for Line Protection option with the Transmission Design Basis team-Compared drawing and respective setting templates of existing standard design for Line Protection options-Worked with Check Back Scheme and created a program in Microsoft Visual Basic to mimic Check Back Scheme-Assisted in testing SEL 3xx series \& SEL 4xx series relay and worked with SEL AcSelerator Quickset

-Electrification design of over 40 commercial/residential buildings and banks using AutoCAD in Nepal-Led the design of distribution system including estimation of ratings and quantities for components like a transformer, circuit breakers, light fixtures, power sockets, wires-Supervised installation of machines, electrical wiring, and protective circuits, and transformer of a small scale tea factory in Bhotechour, Nepal

-Conducted class on Power Plant Design and Machine Design of 40 students-Conducted labs on Machine Design, Electric Machine, and Power Plant Design-Supervised undergraduate thesis titled “Mitigation of Voltage sag condition using Dynamic Voltage Restorer”
