Business Development Manager
I was responsible for business development and marketing for tool shop, adding new and retaining old customers. That was the time for introduction of PET bottle in Pakistan, Paklite was involved in making moulds for leading brands that converted from glass bottles to PET, We were making moulds for Aoki, Nessie, Sidel, Krupp etc. We were also producing various engineering components in Phenolic, Urea, Polyester resin, PA 66, PC , POM etc These early years gave me a lot of learning and experience right from the drawing board to final production, understanding issues in development and production. It taught me to be a problem solver and gave me early lessons in leadership. In late 2002 we identified availability of various engineering materials as scrap in Pakistan with no utility. After trying for a year we were able to identify markets in the far east and started exporting POM , PC and ABS to China, Malaysia , Singapore and Taiwan . This turned out to be a major business venture for future and founding stones for our UAE office were laid. I also have hands on experince of operating plano miller, copy miller, shapers and various other machine tools. I have managed and operated an injection molding shop with 17 machines ranging from a clamp force of 40 tons to 5000 ton and a shot weight capacity of a few grams to 10 KG. Have worked for the GRP section of the company as well with developing, completing and leading various roofing and clading assignments including jointless sheet production of 8' X 12' using glass molds. My recycling experience mainly constitutes for PC, POM, PA, ABS and PS. I have hands on experience of identification, sorting separation of the above materials including float separations, print removals and re-pelletizing.
