Key responsibilities:Identify risk matters to the businessSchedule, plan and complete risk-based internal auditsReport and present findings to the business, making recommendations for solutions and improvements to policies / proceduresUnderstand the commercial objectives of the business and the impact made by internal auditLiaise with client FDs or company directorsLiaise with external advisors as neededPlan and deliver internal audits of determined business area or departmentEnsure the business complies with all relevant internal requirements, industry regulations and government legislationLead, manage and develop the team of junior auditorsAssist with other audit matters and projectsEnable the business to fulfil their commitments to international and government compliance

Key activities include:collating, checking and analysing spreadsheet dataexamining company accounts and financial control systemsgauging levels of financial risk within organisationschecking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliableensuring that assets are safeguardedidentifying if and where processes are not working as they should and advising on changes to be madepreparing reports, commentaries and financial statementsliaising with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendationsensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied withundertaking reviews of wages.

Key Responsibilities:Recognize potential internal control issues and communicate them to the assurance team.Clearly and accurately document the execution of internal control procedures.Challenge procedures used in the past and attempt to enhance internal controls techniques.Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment.Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.Collaborate with team members to set goals and responsibilities.Contribute ideas/opinions, listen/respond to other team members' views.Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with assurance team members, and enhance service delivery.
