My research work is concerned with synthesis of various nanoparticles of metal oxides as TiO2, ZnO, SnO2,---------etc, Graphene, Graphene oxide, Carbon nanotube,----------, etc and Quantum dots of metal sulphides and selenides. The Physicochemical properties of the prepared nanoparticles are investigated using developed techniques as XRD, XPS, HRTEM, FESEM, EDS, EDX, FTIR, PL, DRS, BET and Raman spectroscopy The application of the prepared nanoparticles were tested for removal of toxic pollutants by adsorption and photocatalytic routes and photocatalytic Hydrogen production.
