Reporting to Rig Manager/Tool Pusher about all the drilling activities and rig components.• Familiar with all the equipment, machinery and drilling tools of the rig.• Prepares trip and kill sheets.• Coordinates between Rig Manager, Driller, Mud Engineer and Data logging crew.• Plan ahead about availability of drilling materials.• Maintain inventory of the rig equipment and suggest short falls to Rig Manager.• Relieves Driller on the brake whenever necessary.Technical• Assists Rig Manager in managing rig site operations and prepares updated operations data.• Worked independently as Night Tool Pusher and monitored operations as required by the company.• Understands bit hydraulics and can suggest better options to his supervisors.• Goes through the client company’s drilling program and prepares his assignments accordingly.• Developed and implemented casing / liner running procedures.• Maintains necessary documentation related with the well control.• Able to identify the dull grading of the used drill bits.• Checks performance of solid control equipment and ensures it is working efficiently & as per the mud and hydraulics program.• Coordinate with the warehouse for timely availability of materials.• Suggests various equipment requirements during the drilling operations.• Worked at the Head Office in several occasions for technical procurement.• Preparing daily operation and well control report .

- Ample knowledge of drilling, completion and workover operations with excellent technical, analytical and decision making abilities.- From designing wells to budgeting and resourcing every service & equipment and execution (on / off site with valid IWCF certification). From post well analysis to recommending solutions and evaluating new technologies etc.- Expertise in well design, well engineering & well Planning from scratch till the production / abandonment phase (Drilling Basis of Design - Generate and document casing, fluids, cementing, directional, survey, bits, drill string, testing designs, Wellbore Modeling - Torque/Drag/Hydraulic/ECD/Swab/Surge Simulations for drilling and running casing/liner.- Experience in design, engineering, planning & operations of Onshore, Workover, Cluster wells, HPHT, Horizontal and Unconventional (tight gas / Shale gas).- Well Integrity Management for production / injection and ongoing wells- Identification, evaluation and application of new technologies to improve the performance (Lean profiles, deviated Lean Profiles, MPD, continuous circulation system, RSS, LWD, Air / Foam systems (open & closed loop systems), ceramic centralization, UBD, Dopeless connections, wireline coring etc)- Material selection and QA/QC as per applicable API/ISO and / or Company’s applicable standards

• Provide technical assistance to Senior Drilling Engineer at well site in all drilling & well completion operations.• Assist senior drilling engineer in preparation of Drilling programs (AFE, Casing Design, Cementing program & Technical Evaluation of Equipment etc)• Monitor & implement HSE standards on rig site.• Monitor & measures to control the lost circulation.• Analyze Bit Performance, Dull grading of bit & Hydraulics Optimization.• Prepare for casing/liner running & cementing, BOP/casing pressure testing.• Supervise & assist work over crew to install & recover well head.• Fishing operations (using Overshot, Spear, Wash-over shoe, Tapered mill, Flat bottom mill, watermelon mill & Impression block).• Core cutting & handling.• Assist production engineer in Drill Stem Testing, Well intervention & coiled tubing operations.• TCP & Wireline Perforation techniques.• Balanced Cement plug.• Prepare all kinds of rig site reports including Daily, Weekly and Section reports to keep a Quality Check & up gradation of Reporting Formats.• Prepare End of the Well reports in order to drive continuous improvement in future drilling operations.
