Provide and play an important role in Budget and forecasting.  Implement and monitor expert accounting for entities and businesses. Ensure required provisions, accruals and reconciliations are adequately monitored. Support transition of SSC operations as and when taken up and monitor quality.  Approved CAPEX are monitored for budget and timelines and reports filed. Completed projects are correctly categorized and capitalized and a project administration is maintained.  Manage all Local Fiscal / Tax laws as applicable  Manage treasury and risk management including insurance coverage of entities in line with AkzoNobel treasury/risk management guidelines  Support functional and business controllers for monthly review and budget processes.  Implement/update AkzoNobel accounting operations set up for new and existing entities plus new AkzoNobel businesses within the entities.  Analyze financial related processes and outcomes, identify gaps, non-compliance and/or potential financial risk areas, inform and/or draft proposals for appropriate prevention, mitigation and correction, and after approval monitor or participate in implementation.  Collect, interpret and explain financial related data and provide periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analysis.  Supervision is part and parcel of the job day in and day out.
