Bilal Khan brings with him two decades of experience in finance, business, technology and law as WeShall’s Managing Partner.With a proven track record as an operator, advisor, and investor, Bilal is uniquely positioned to lead WeShall’s overall management, steer portfolio companies, and guide new investments. His unwavering commitment to entrepreneurship and growth perfectly aligns with WeShall’s strategic vision.In his role as Managing Director and Head of Snowflake Canada (NYSE: SNOW), Bilal was responsible for the growth and operations of the silicon valley based cloud computing and data technology company. Prior to that Bilal was a Managing Partner at Deloitte, where he was responsible for helping develop and execute Deloitte’s data, advanced analytics, and innovation agenda, as well as the development of governance, strategies, and transformations for the firm’s public and private sector clients. Bilal was the founding CEO of OneEleven, a scale-up innovation hub focused on helping Canada’s most promising, high-growth start-ups commercialize their technologies and scale their operations. A lawyer, Bilal spent his early career practicing corporate securities law as Legal Counsel to Russell Investments, a U.S. based multi-asset manager (acquired by the London Stock Exchange Group). Bilal is active in his community and sits on several Boards, including the Board of Governors of the University of Waterloo, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, Toronto Global, and formerly with TVO and the Canadian Club of Toronto. Bilal was named one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 and was recognized on the Bay Street Bull Power 50 list. Bilal holds a JD from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and is an alumnus of Singularity University at the NASA Ames Research Centre in exponential technologies.
