Since getting promoted to this role, the nature of the tasks given and handled have been the following:1 - Guiding the design progress under direct supervision from the allocated project lead.2 - Allocating task matrices and handing them out to the designated team of architects.3 - Commenting on and overseeing the work development of fellow team members.4 - Developing the designated project to the later schematic and tender stages which is done through Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and a structured BIM digital delivery strategy.5 - Directly coordinating the design with SMEP disciplines via weekly meetings.6 - Responding to construction inquiries from on-site engineers and architects.7 - Attending high-level client meetings with project management and the CEO.

Work experience at Pace revolves around partaking in leading multiple design projects, sometimes two or three at a time, of different scales and function from the pre-concept stages (client kick-off) to submission of drawings, while maintaining coordination with professionals from different disciplines (SMEP) and occasionally international consultants and experts. Various tools are utilized for this process along with a multi-faceted skill set that comprises of the following:1 - Setting out and sketching pre-concept design strategies.2 - Narrating initial ideas via 2D and 3D axonometric diagrams.3 - Drawing and 3D modeling the ideas as they develop.4 - Narrating a client-specific storyboard to portray the visualized design through programs such as Rhinoceros, Lumion, Enscape and the Adobe suite.5 - Attending and presenting the design to the client.6 - Partaking in various design workshops to better the immediate project.

This role was my first experience with individual work in which I was exposed to direct client design interactions, reviews as well as execution work and supervision.The work-scope involved can be summarized with the following:- Providing design consultancy services revolving around residential projects. - Providing the 2D drawings necessary for the proposal. - Providing 3D modeling and rendering services necessary for the proposal. For this, programs such as Revit, Vray and Lumion were utilized.- Drawing and submitting the shop drawings needed for the project take-off and execution phases. This also includes detailed drawings, schedules and bill-of quantity tables.

This role was heavily design driven, in which my initial approaches for design were tested by the renowned Mr. Mallat. Work-scope revolved around the following:- The Grand Majdelyoun Residential Development Project. Worked on the parking level execution plans and on the exterior landscape arrangement concerning vehicular passages as well as the residential units’ private garden spaces. The work was done using Autodesk Revit and rendered with Lumion 6.

As an intern for the internationally renowned Mr. Bernard Khoury, I learned a great deal about details and their encompassing presence in the macro-aspect of an overall design.Work-scope revolved around the following:- Mar Mkhayel Village - Residential Development - Final design phase. Worked on coordinated plan modifications as well as on detailed drawings of interior and exterior elements.- Saifi 45- - Residential Development - Site Visit and execution.- Bernard Khoury - "Toxic Grounds". Was responsible of the surveying and digital 3d-modeling process of a specific zone near the port of Beirut.

Work-scope revolved around the following:- St. Mary Church Damour. Worked on the detail-design of interior elements.- Damour Residential Project. Worked on interior plan modifications in the preliminary phases of the design process.- New Mar Takla Residential Building 3. Worked on execution drawings as well as modifications done on the permit plans- Science Island Architecture Competition (Lithuania). Was responsible for the research phase, and contributed in the preliminary design phase of the firm’s entry to the competition.

Jubail District, Lebanon

Won the third place ranking design entry in the student-specific architecture competition hosted by the municipality of Jbeil, Byblos to design a new building for the governmental regional administration of that area. My entry, including the other top two, were showcased in Jbeil’s municipality building following the announcement of the results.
