• Job role requires strong collaboration with other functions and stake-holders to ensure Production plan is executed as per Production target and KPI's.• Preparing bi-monthly Production Plan document for Wire Rope Division, Stranding and Thin Wet Drawing Department.• Calculating & communicating Monthly segmented Steel Wire Requirement to parent division.• Responsible for optimum workflow of orders through the RM/WIP/FG Cycle in view of Man/Material/Machine constraints ensuring maximum capacity utilization.• Leading the team of Shift Incharges, Production Officers & 60+ workforce of Stranding & Thin Wire Drawing section ensuring adherence to Production Plan.• Monitoring and controlling production progress and stations efficiency levels via Daily Production Report (DPR) and taking necessary corrective actions.• Providing input on staffing levels & resource requirements for Production dept.• Root Cause Analysis of problems arising in end to end processes from Raw Materials receipt to rolling out Finish Goods and suggesting necessary actions.• Ensure Production and maintenance coordination for compliance of PM List (Preventive Maintenance Plan) to increase equipment uptime.• Working in cross functional teams for undertaking of new product development, devising their process workflow and their subsequent standardization on shop floor.• Provide technical support on issues arising on the Shop floor with respect to quality, equipment, material, auxiliaries etc.• Ensuring GMP are practiced and followed. Undertook initiatives which led to better traceability of material during conversion, revising “Work Instructions” which led to less quality related defects during production.

Pakistan

• Leading procurement from local vendor supply base as per production schedule for switchgear assembly line.• Representing material management department in "Order Review Meetings" and taking proactive and corrective actions regarding material related issues on the Switchgear Assembly Line.• Inventory level management and review via SAP MM Module.• Raising Purchase Orders for Switchgear department for scope of local Purchases.• Trouble shooting issues arising in the P2P (Procure to Pay) process and subsequent resolution of Vendor's concerns.• Forecasting and aligning vendors working with respect to Production Plan and Sales Forecast of Switchgear Products and making contingencies in case of deviations.• Working with Supply base and relevant stake holders with respect to material availability for active production orders, including general consumables and sub-contracting jobs.
