I’m the Sr. Drilling Supervisor for Turkish Petroleum Corp (TPAO). In this role I worked in onshore and offshore oil&gas wells and wild cat wells Mediterranean and Black Sea. Plan, supervise and monitor all drilling & completion operations. Prepare look ahead to forecast and assist in movements of personnel and equipment. Manage contractors and ensure rig operations follow well program. WSDE while drilling ultra-deepwater Sile-1 well at Black Sea in the JV with Shell. Worked in offshore oil&gas wells including HPHT environment challenges. Various technical operations such as liner running, mud cap, etc. Analyse real-time data with the aim of early problem detection and performance enhancements. Track rig performance and compare with baseline well times & costs Prepare end of well reports, assist in new well plans by sharing lessons learned and NPT analysis. Worked Front End Design Phase of Black Sea Deep Water Project (Riva-1) including Feasibility Study, Concept Selection Endorsement, MPD Deepwater Integration Worked in design phase and prepared contracts of K. Marmara UGS project including 18 UGS wells from 2 jackets and 2 appraisal wells. Currently working on SPS project of DSMII for 2 upcoming deepwater wells, especially 5 yearly SPS of subsea BOP and Risers. Before joining TPAO, I worked for Güney Yıldızı Petrol A.Ş. (GYP) and planned and supervised oil, gas & geothermal wells in Western Turkey and Middle East.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to search for new technologies. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favourite stage of a project is designing something to overcome the challenges and the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part.
