• Won an internal research grant, LKC-Medicine Innovation Grant, worth of $30,000.• Won the LEARN Mentorship Award.• Managed and mentored research assistants and interns.• Published three high impact factor articles in leading life science journals (eLife, EMBO J & Nature Communications).

• Elucidated molecular mechanisms of a protein complex in bacteria, a promising target for antibiotics, using biochemical and biophysical methods.• Biochemically characterized the MlaFEDBC multicomponent protein complex.• Published two first-authored papers in highly reputable journals (eLife and Biochemistry).• Collaborated with the scientists at Singapore Lipidomics Incubator (SLING).• Attended international conferences to present a poster and to deliver a talk.• Trained one internship and two final year project students who won prestigious awards based on their projects (Royal Society of Chemistry award and the President’s Graduate Fellowship).
