I've joined Transcend to help them grow with my 20 years of development and ~9 years of management experience. I'm leading a new team of developers, DevOps and QA, collaborating with engineers from the Electrical, Biological, Chemical, and Civil Architectural discipline to improve Trancend's generative design based revolutionary product.

I'm a technical architech, a team leader, a company growth manager and so much more under the CTO title, thinking on the strategical level, but doing operative management as well. I'm responsible to architect a scalable, message based async platform, being the next level of Vertigo's proven ultra-high frequency trading bot. I'm also responsible to grow the local development team, while managing multiple remote teams in South America to align to our strategical goals. Helping a small company to grow, building structure, introducing processes and tools is also on my plate.

Being a development manager here in Pro-Sharp covers even more than it did back in Dealogic.By being one of the two managers in Pro-Sharp, I had a key role in- Recruitment: searching for candidates, doing a lot of DEV and QA interviews and growing the company from around 10 to 26 employees- Team work: splitting the growing number of employees into teams and introducing team based delivery, encouraging collaboration and risk-mitigation- Agile transition: redefining our processes and introducing sprints in delivery- Automation and transparency: introducing Azure DevOps as a tool for build + release pipelines, test automation and administration- Line management: introducing regular feedback sessions and personality-based coaching- Test automation: introducing performance, load and Selenium UI testing above unit and integration testingBesides all these various management areas, I’m leading one team of variable size. In 2019 I was the technical architect of a completely new product that brought innovation and a much more modern tech stack (.NET Core + latest Angular, Docker) and also laid down some building blocks (SSO, unified Health checking + diagnostics, RabbitMQ messaging) and started building a platform. Above being its delivery manager since the start, for 1.5 years I was the acting Business Analyst and had the responsibility of the business side of this new product as well.Through all these years I managed to keep my technical side relevant by mentoring junior developers or newcomers, doing code reviews and developing features, fixes, improvements or automated tests myself.

I was the development manager of a team that implemented a data integration and data analyticsdashboard solution for investment banking clients. This role was the mix of a lead developer, anapplication architect and a line manager, which was quite challenging.In 2017 I was the lead developer of a six month side project called “Connect Reconciliation mobileapplication”, which is a small mobile app focused on helping the investors to give feedback andrate their sell-side organized activities on the go by just a few clicks.

I’ve been part of a global team for a 6 month long project, developing a Xamarin based app forthe Zurich Airport that runs on both iOS and Android devices. It contains offline and online dataabout arrivals / departures, POIs nearby, parking and other useful information.

I’ve designed, architected, implemented and tested complete mobile informationsystems and their databases. I’ve also taken an active part in their installation tothe clients’ devices and I provide continuous support too. In most cases theseapplications were uniquely designed to comply with the given client’s requirements,thus they are used as internal company softwares unavailable to the public. Thesystems were built on Microsoft .NET, .NET Compact Framework, Mono For Android,and recently on Xamarin.Android and Xamarin.iOS frameworks, using Microsoft SQLServer, MySQL and in most cases SQLite as database. Client-Server comminucationis based on XML Web Services, ServiceStack, Apple Push Notification and/or GoogleCloud Messaging services.Systems designed and mostly implemented by me:Distribution Sales Manager, Mobile Questionnaire / Voting application, Quality checkstatus reporter, Barcode based inventory, GPS based delivery service supportapplication, Barcode based event ticket verification, GPS based „what’s nearby” and„where is the nearest”-like mobile clients etc.

From the three semesters spent at the company the first two counted as myuniversity lab training, while in the last semester I was writing my theses. Duringthat time I’ve learnt the C# programming language, the usage of several developerenvironments, the Microsoft .NET and .NET Compact Framework. I’ve made somepresentations on the differences between these two frameworks and the specialitiesof designing mobile information systems. As my final thesis I’ve designed andimplemented a distribution sales manager software.
