Anyone who knows me well will comment on my work ethic, my drive to get things done, as well as my demand for safety procedures to be followed. I strongly believe that no one gets paid enough to get injured at work, and that people should go home with all their fingers and toes intact.Many years ago I started in the industry at first as a hod carrier and soon a self taught flagger and kerber. It came natural for me to take the lead, and in my time with John Laing I progressed through the ranks from Ganger to Site Manager,In my time with Bovis Lend Lease the 3 sites that I carried out the role of Senior Construction Manager all received Considerate Constructors Awards.I was personally recognized when in 2010 I received a commended in the finals of the CIOB Manager of the year award. And again in 2012 when I was a finalist in the North West Construction Awards for Leadership and Development.
