Caring for Cambodia (CFC) is a non-profit, non-governmental, charitable organization that provides free education to over 6400 impoverished children in 21 schools spanning preschool through high school. CFC professionally trains its Cambodian teachers and provides everything a child needs to succeed. This includes food, clean water, uniforms, schools supplies, computers, transportation and basic healthcare. CFC is run predominately with the support of volunteers which ensures donations raised goes directly to support our students and their education.

Mr. Amelio is guiding CHC Helicopter, long a leader in global helicopter services, on an ambitious transformation of the company and its industry – through higher execution, efficiency and value for customers and other stakeholders: •Carrying passengers to and from offshore platforms and vessels for the world’s top oil and gas companies, in virtually every major discovery and production region of the world.• Operating one of the largest networks of services for government search-and-rescue agencies, with skilled and courageous people flying in often challenging conditions.• Through Heli-One, delivering comprehensive and innovative helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aircraft flow by CHC and dozens of other operators. Prior to CHC, Mr. Amelio amassed a distinguished record of senior leadership at several major corporations. During his tenure as president and chief executive officer of the Lenovo Group, the company integrated what had been IBM’s Personal Computer business, implemented a broad-reaching business-transformation program, introduced the Lenovo brand around the world, and quintupled sales. Mr. Amelio also has managed major business units for companies such as Dell, NCR and AlliedSignal. With his wife, Jamie, Mr. Amelio founded Caring for Cambodia, a nonprofit organization to improve education for children in Cambodia by building schools, training teachers and providing for essential personal needs. Mr. Amelio holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and an honorary doctorate in engineering from Lehigh University. He earned a master’s degree in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he is a Sloan Fellow.
