• The Compliance Supervisor is part of the offshore supervisory team and has a direct line reporting relationship to the HSE&A Manager (Operations) to maintain a degree of independence from line responsibilities with a.
• The Compliance Supervisor will work as part of an overall HSE&A support function provided from both onshore and offshore
• Whilst ensuring a suitable level familiarity with day to day operations, the role is more one of maintaining an overview of activities to verify that the appropriate HSE&A Management System controls are being properly.
• Primary role is one of compliance, by monitoring adherence with key aspects of the Company HSE Management System processes, in particular those relating to legislative compliance. In addition, the Compliance Supervisor.
• Actively assist in the development, implementation of company policies and procedures; providing HSE advice or references to other departments as appropriate.

• Development of Corporate Environmental policies and standards as a component of Corporate Health, Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility (HSE&SR) Management System
• Provision of environmental guidance and support to all divisional HSE&SR staff and asset teams
• Participation on Corporate HSE&SR Management System Audits, and post audit issue management
• Contribute to Provincial, Federal, and International policy development through direct engagement and industry association participation

• Manage staff and activities within a multidisciplinary team to develop regulatory application for 140,000 barrel/day in-situ oil sands project
• Lead regulatory processes and associated staff/budgets
• Stakeholder relations –Expertise in creating and building key relationships with stakeholders. Initiated and facilitated stakeholder meetings to identify issues and jointly develop mitigations to social, environmental.
• Manage development and transition of environmental programs, procedures, and responsibilities to operations staff

• Develop water source strategy for exploration and drilling operations and long term supply for integrated in-situ, oil sands facility.
• Coordinate all water related regulatory applications and permits for integrated, in-situ oil sands facility – provide regulatory support and technical assessment for surfacewater/groundwater withdrawals, disposal.
• Develop domestic water and wastewater facility for oil sands facility construction and operations staff
• Participation in the development and execution of internal compliance audit processes

• Working with multidisciplinary team to design, construct and operate private potable water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Responsible for the interpretation and implementation of the terms of regulatory licenses and permits
• Coordinate initiatives including: waste minimization strategies, and environmental impact assessments.
• Responsible for assessment and economic evaluation of new technologies for potable and wastewater treatment.
