System Engineer
Current• Automate the creation of servers and installation of applications using PowerShell scripts, vmware vRealize Orchestrator, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, and other commonly used automation tools.• Set up monitoring and alerting for server, application, and database health using various SolarWinds products, custom PowerShell scripts, and PagerDuty.• Manage Citrix XenApp environments that are used to publish applications to remote users.• Perform regular maintenance on servers, applications, and databases to improve system stability and security.• Plan new server environment layouts with diverse requirements.• Create detailed documentation about server environments to make them easier to understand and support.• Part of an on-call rotation to ensure that urgent issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
