I started as a graphic designer with a theatrical, creative background.MarComs involved me in industrial theatre, presentation skills, designing speaker support, script writing, coaching and staging on a global basis dealing with Senior Managers up to Board level.Within healthcare, I progressed from Activity Co-ordinator to Training Manager, Compliance Manager, Facilities Manager before becoming Operations Manager, responsible finally for three teams as well as for the safety of the environment across 11 years and 2 locations.I have a thorough understanding of the legislation that keeps a care home safe including making a Home Covid-19 prepared.I have a level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management and a level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (Adults' Residential Management), England with the associated Higher Level Apprenticeship in General Adult Social Care. I am now looking forward to the next challenge which could include managing a residential Home.
