Oversight of Unitywater’s resilience framework of security, business continuity and incident response functions to ensure continuity of core services are maintained to mitigate operational risk and ensure a quality customer experience.Develop, implement and manage the development of business plans and strategies for physicalsecurity functions.Provide advice on security, business continuity and incident management to all areas of thebusiness.Provide incident response and security training for staff induction, on-call rosters and as requiredfor exercises and rehearsals, including developing exercises pertaining to security riskmanagement requirements and incident response.Engage with stakeholders to drive optimal performance of Unitywater’s security and businessresilience by ensuring business resilience management strategies are operationalised, producingcapital project requests for evolving technologies and system upgrades and providing advice to onthe security related elements of facility management contracts and construction projects.Monitor and contribute to water industry developments in security and incident management,including counter-terrorism.Carry out debriefs, audits and inspections related to the business resilience functions.Liaise with Local, State and Commonwealth Government agencies in relation to business resiliencefunctions.

Development and implementation of the Corporate Risk Management Framework and Resilience Framework for this large electricity distribution organisation.Provision of Governance and Compliance management to ensure appropriate controls for the effective corporate governance are implemented and effective.Development and implementation of emergency and disaster management plans, with appropriate testing and exercising across the organisation.Responsible for developing and coordinating effective risk management and organisational resilience policies, methodologies, risk management plan, risk register and reporting framework.Establish monitoring and reporting systems in high priority areas to identify instances of non-compliance, system breakdowns or unacceptable risk exposure. Responsible for the development of management information reporting services to the Banking organisation, including- Develop and implement SLAs with internal support providers and customers and manage delivery of services- Establish a support unit, developing all processes & procedures, to support a performance reporting solution and its ongoing development- Manage the Banking database and its development to support the publication of reports and availability of information for analysis- Champion the resolution of data integrity issues, establish official data sources, standardise definitions, metric rules and improve data quality- Facilitate improvements to the MIS operations by developing support and operations processes and standards and managing input requirements of key stakeholders

Deliver outsourced application support services to the customer and various project management activities including- Ensure integration and coordination across the Unit’s operational domains (Service Control, Service Delivery, Development and Technical)- Establishm and maintain the infrastructure, processes and procedures to ITIL standards required to support the delivery of the Unit’s services- Analyse customer demand, coordinate resources and work across the operational domains, and monitor the team's work flow- Monitor and report against Service Delivery requirements, SLAs and Productivity targets- Implement Continuous Improvement and Quality Programs and input to organisation’s attainment of ISO9001 certification- Manage the client account to ensure services meet client needs and expectations but are delivered within budgets.- Provide guidance to team members, and develop people- Provide financial status reporting and forecasting of unit revenue and costs

Facilitate the delivery of outsourced IT services to the gas operations and trading business (BG Group), including- Application management and vendor management for the full applications suite of the group- Delivery of Business Objects-based management information reporting- Develop and deliver a business-aligned IT strategy to enhance the gas operations and trading business- Provide vendor and supplier management services- Deliver business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing and maintenance- Provide application release management services to ensure all patch and upgrades releases are fully tested, accepted and released according to agreed procedures- Provide business analyst and change management services to the group- Develop the group’s management information reporting strategy by determining the group’s requirements, developing the tools and capabilities and developing a suite of reports for business managers and operating groups.

Deliver an ongoing programme of management information projects to the Abbey National group including- Develop the strategy to deliver HR reports across the group, identifying and maintaining user population, data sources and data quality issues- Manage the deployment of reporting applications and act as a support resource to end users- Redesign HR functional processes (e.g. recruitment, training, personnel administration, payroll and financial services compliance) to streamline transactions and to facilitate workflow, managing the business process change across the HR division- Develop an intranet delivered, on-line, manager and employee self-service application to automate transactions and improve operational efficiency across the group- Design, develop and publish regular management reporting of HR data using the Microsoft suite of tools, Crystal Reports and PeopleSoft Query- Provide report analysis services to business managers and divisional directors across the group.
