Premier Event Management is America’s preeminent organizer of multi-sport racing events. The company was formed in 1993 with its principals having race management experience since the late 1970s. The core of the PEM team was involved in the production of one of the largest road races in the United States with more than 30,000 participants and a post race festival estimated at 100,000+.PEM produces 25-30 triathlons, cycling and road races each year, and has produced and/or timed regional, national, and international championships. Events of note are Ironman NOLA 70.3, Bay to Breakers, New York City Triathlon, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, the former Hy-Vee Triathlon and Hy-Vee 5150 U.S. Championship, Smoothie King Big Easy Run Fest, Entergy Bike the Big Easy, New Orleans Endurance Fest (formerly 5150 New Orleans), Naperville Sprint Triathlon and the Nation's Triathlon. Historically, PEM has produced the ITU World Cup, the 2002 ITU World Duathlon Championships, Toyota US Open Triathlon Championship and 2004 and 2008 Olympic Triathlon Trials as well as the largest Ironman event in the world, the 2009 Ochsner Ironman 70.3 New Orleans. In the Fall of 2016, PEM will produce the USAT Women's Collegiate National Championships, USAT Draft Legal Sprint Triathlon World Qualifier and USAT Draft Legal Sprint Duathlon World Qualifier.In addition to production of wholly owned events, PEM also provides all services required in multi-sport event production. PEM is a CHAMPIONCHIP timer, owning one of the largest fleets of chip timing equipment in the South. The company has the ability to provide any services required for new or established events from consulting services to complete turnkey productions. And with an in-house marketing, media and graphics production team, PEM has the ability to make every event look and feel like a World Championship!
