Bill Canavan has over 45 years of proven leadership, program and logistics management, and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high explosives (CBRNE) expertise supporting the Department of Defense's (DoD) weapons, counter-terrorism, and non-proliferation programs. As an Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) provider, he helped manage DoD's life-cycle sustainment of the US nuclear weapons stockpile, combating weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) programs, including radiation detection and sensor R&D, and CBRNE incident response plans. As a US Air Force colonel and program manager, he has extensive nuclear weapons program management, policy, planning, and integration expertise and experience at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), US Air Force Headquarters, and field-level assignments where he managed numerous multi-million dollar programs.
