Provider of management and advisory services to media and information businesses, as well as to PE firms and financial institutions looking to invest in these businesses or to maximize their current investments. We also provide senior-level hands-on operational services as needed, with broad experience running and managing media businesses. Current assignments include serving in a Board capacity for GTxcel (a leading digital technology SaaS provider), and as Chairman of the Board for Sustainable Life Media (b-to-b digital media and events), as well as consulting for PE firms (Clearlake Capital, Allomer Capital) and business owners active in the media marketplace.

Served as CEO of Modern Luxury Media, one of the nation's leading publishers of major metropolitan magazines for the high-end luxury goods consumer. MLM publishes over 40 titles and produces 200+ events annually, reaching more than 1 million readers across every major U.S. metropolitan market. EBITDA Media was brought in to help manage these titles, first as an independent board member and then as the full-time CEO. Within two years we successfully transitioned the properties back to growth and profitability, and in 2011 the company was sold to DickeyMedia/Cumulus.

Established and built Canon Communications LLC (now a part of UBM),a large-scale multimedia company serving the information needs of high-tech industries. Oversaw and managed the growth of the company, first as a stand-alone and then as a platform company of NYC-based PE firm Veronis Suhler. As a platform company we grew the company aggressively through a strong combination of organic and acquired growth, executing 20+ acquisitions and new product launches during this time. In 2006 we sold the company in a highly successful transaction to PE firm Spectrum Equity. At the time of sale, Canon had grown to over 300 employees worldwide, produced 35 large-scale trade events, published over 40 magazine titles, and produced dozens of digital content and information sites.
