CurrentI formed ABC Chambers Solutions in early 2012 with the purpose of assisting sets of Chambers and individuals in the fields of management, consultancy, recruitment and training. We are now in our 11th year of operations and I am extremely proud that in this time we have become the first choice for many leading sets, as well as attracting business from firms of Solicitors. The majority of our work is through referrals and recommendations - something else that makes me very proud. The original concept was that if you had any kind of problem, you just had to “Ask Bill Conner” (hence ABC in our title), and we would resolve it. I have always enjoyed helping people, networking and problem solving and I count myself fortunate to do so for a living.Prior to launching ABC I had a long and rewarding career as a Bar Clerk spanning 42 years. This included over 27 years as a Senior Clerk dealing with all areas of Chambers’ Management and Practice Management in sets such as the late George Carman QC’s at New Court, where I served for 20 years. I remain a member and strong supporter of the Institute of Barristers Clerks as well as being a member of the Legal Practice Managers Association.
