He has served as chair of the St. Thomas More Collegiate board of directors, and on the board of several other community and charity organizations. He has been active within the accounting profession as well, serving on the Public Relations and Members in Public Practice committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (ICABC). He is past Chair of the Public Company Technical Forum.
