About Bill Demeter, Mst, Cpa

I am a fully licensed CPA, and have been practicing since 2021. I graduated the Master's of Science in Taxation program from Eastern Michigan University at the top of my class. I also hold a bachelor's degree in accounting from EMU. While tax is my specialty, I have a diverse range of skills in all aspects of accounting. I have years of experience in tax preparation and research in public accounting. I also have years of experience in GAAP, non-profit, and financial accounting. Tangential to the world of accounting I simultaneously worked in grant/project management for the University of Michigan Sponsored Programs. Currently I am the Corporate Accountant and direct assistant to the Controller and CFO for New Eagle,LLC. I manage all sales/use tax matters, state and property tax abatement, along with all provision calculations. I work in GAAP financial reporting and accounting - with responsibilities ranging from monthly internal audit functions to prepping financial statement notes. I have a diverse set of skills and experience along with a strong work ethic that allows me to excel at anything put in front of me.
