Prior to graduation, my dad, (a national SCCA champion race car driver) Don Edmunds and I built cars for the likes of Mario Andretti, Johnny Rutherford, Bobby Unser and many more. After studying psychology, education and child development at CSU Long Beach I taught school in Long Beach Unified, worked with Special Education kids at Los Angeles Unified, worked at the L A Board of Education. Following that I was president of a Real Estate Business on Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa, then president of some auto tune up shops, and then I owned a manufacturing company for 23 years that made products for natural parenting and breastfeeding moms. Our customers were the Red Cross, WIC, Head Start, Right Start, hospitals too numerous to mention and many lactation consultants. My main duties at these companies were developing products, leading sales teams, promotional speaking engagements including television, staff development and training.Currently I am a chaplain with the state prisons (CDCR), and with the US Marine Corps. Volunteer experiences; Big Brothers of Orange County, Child Guidance Center, Camarillo State Mental Hospital, HOS Drug Hotline, several homeless shelters, Director with Angel Tree Christmas gifts for children of incarcerated parents, Little League Baseball and many church ministries.
