Oversee finance function for Jones and Vining, Inc., a company which is a leading supplier of shoe lasts and other components to the footwear industry since 1930. Responsibilities include overall finance administration for multiple offices located throughout Asia and the USA. Lead individual managing banking relationships, external audits, tax, FP+A, and cash management for the company.

Interim Chief Financial Officer, plus tax and accounting services

Responsible for the overall global administration of the Keds division including finance, operations, and merchandise planning. Responsibilities include direction and oversight of all financial and operational activities across multiple business units, inventory flow, supply chain and forecasting.

Direct and oversee financial and operational activities for the International Division (brands included Sperry Top-Sider, Keds, Saucony and Stride Rite). Responsibilities included overseeing multiple business units and models, as well as managing a world-wide network of distributors and licensees. Full responsibility for financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting, monthly close process, and internal controls. Accountability for sales operations, demand planning and logistics, across all elements of the supply chain. Extensive experience identifying prospective partners, performing due diligence and negotiating and finalizing term sheets through to final contracts.

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the division, with as many as 7 direct reports. Assumed oversight of product development, marketing and new business development through consolidation of functional areas in order to improve internal communication and profitability.

Built detailed bottoms-up financial plans and forecasts, covering multiple brands, regions, and business models. Created and distributed monthly forecast review decks, focusing on key management discussion and analysis to brand and corporate management. Developed long range planning model for distributor/licensee businesses, partnering with regional GM’s, NBD team, and brands to ensure alignment on trends and assumptions. Developed financial templates to assist executive management in evaluating business proposals.

Oversee internal audit function for the company. Present audit plans to Audit Committee.
