After graduating from college, I joined IBM. For the next eight years, I was promoted into and out-of various high-profile positions.Besides completing IBM’s vaunted management training program, I received an amazing education.However, the fast track I was on began to feel significantly more like a Nordic Track... I did not see that one coming.So I made the safe, logical career decision and took a Leave of Absence from IBM and joined the Peace Corps. I was on my way to the Congo.For the next two and a half years, I lived on the western edge of Africa’s Great Rift Valley; one of the most exotically unusual places in the world. Think… prehistoric rainforests, volcanoes, and Mountain Gorillas meet... Malaria, 4th-world poverty, and AK-47’s.Upon my return, I started a media production company… Hey, I have an idea for a name…Mud-Hut Studios began doing mostly audio production work. This resulted in (among other things) song placement for HBO and Warner Bros. productions. Over time, we’ve developed into a full service media production company by adding graphic animation, video (national awards), and digital content management. Our product is called Impact Media. I’ve found that my unique life experiences can sometimes produce a fresh and different perspective for my clients.
