IoTech Systems Limited are building and deploying the pervasive open software defined compute infrastructure for the Edge; a software foundry that will help drive IOT innovation, global adoption, market velocity and scale. My role is to support this world leading venture by owning the project and programme management functions. These include commercial work driven by clients and partners in addition to major projects part funded by government institutions such as Innovate UK and Scottish Enterprise.

Responsible for BT Global Services' key sales support systems and worked closely with business process experts in the delivery of process improvements through automation.• Managed several high-profile multi-million-pound projects from inception to completion, working in both traditional and AGILE environments. These delivered world class capability enabling contracts to be won in the highly competitive global telecoms market place. • Constructed business cases and gained sign off from many senior stakeholders, some of whom were opposed at the outset, via focused presentations, negotiation and by building coalitions of support.• Managed conflicting interests and priorities to successful conclusion, often having been specifically assigned to deal with significant issues by undertaking route cause analysis, agreeing solutions and ensuring these were delivered as promised.• Directly managed the feasibility and requirement definitions for several key projects, by running workshops involving key users and developers.

BTID (service design for BTGS) - owning the development of a suite of functionality to integrate the GS Customer Zone to the new strategic platform• The trusted escalations point for operational issues and liaising between development teams and key business user groups, by taking personal ownership of issues, establishing clear communication channels and negotiating acceptable compromises where needed.

Building engagement opportunities for managed services, undertaking competitor analysis, and owning several key external communication tasks for BTW (MBORC declarations, 21CN PoR)• Developed a scorecard, with management and reporting, for unit’s overall objectives on behalf of Unit director, setting key performance indicators and working with teams to establish data gathering and analysis mechanisms.

Managed lines of communication to other communication providers on BT's plans for the 21CN• Programme manager for the Consult21 team as part of the wider 21CN programme• Ran key liaison sessions with other telecommunication providers on Contact and Network related issues

Led team on the development of radical change projects implementing significant operational improvements• Introduced a major new order handling system for key telecom services, providing much improved process control, reduced lead times and consistent MIS data, working with key end-users and developers in an early implementation using the AGILE philosophy of rapid prototyping.
