Received a COI (continuous operational improvement) award, a recognition award for project excellence.* Performed research and implemented new suppliers for testing and production supplies to get bottom line savings of 70k.* Helped design an in-depth calibration method eliminating mercury saving process time and improving safety. * Received an award for being customer focused. * Have produced 1.5 million dollars in savings using lean tools such as kan-ban, and flow system.* Went to Radiation Safety School and completed a 40 hour training class.Took the state of Illinois X -Ray test and became state certified, thus furthering myself at Watlow by becoming a level 2 X- ray technician.Helped develop a conwip system in Xactpak to reduce lead-time by 5 days.Raised productivity by 22% in 2008, and built a record 2.75 million feet in a calendar year.
