As the Head of Assets & Compliance at University for the Creative Arts (UCA), I am privileged to lead and manage the facilities, estates, and compliance functions across our campuses and accommodation stock. I have taken forward and developed the asset and life cycle management strategy, strengthened our compliance management program to ensure we remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. Alongside this I developed and delivered a digital transformation of estates management information systems project that culminated in the implementation of an Estates Information Team and IWMS/CAFM system(s). My core competencies include energy reduction intiatives, engineering & technical project leadership, and maintenance management. I successfully deliver projects that improve efficiency, sustainability, and safety of complex estates. A key passion of mine is in enhancing the accessibility, quality and relevance of Estates Information and knowledge. Utilising this knowledge base to ensure that plans, strategies and projects are built on solid foundations and able to make data driven, user focused decisions. My mission is to provide high-quality and innovative estate that supports the creative and academic excellence of UCA.
