Nuclear Design Engineer at BVPS (1982 - 1989).• More than 31 years of experience in the nuclear power industry, including 24 years in probabilistic risk assessments.• Key contributor in developing the BVPS Unit 1 and BVPS Unit 2 IPE and IPEEE PRA models, as well as key role in the developing the site Severe Accident Mitigation Alternatives (SAMA).• Responsible for the development of new risk–informed applications at the site, such as Risk-Informed Technical Specification Initiative 5b (Surveillance Frequency Control Program), and increasing the containment Type A integrated leak rate test (ILRT) interval from ten years to a permanent fifteen years. • The technical lead for updating the BVPS PRA models to be Regulatory Guide 1.200, Revision 1 Capability Category II compliant, and is currently in the process of overseeing the external events PRA model update for both of the BVPS Units, including seismic, external flooding, and other external hazards to be Regulatory Guide 1.200, Revision 2 Capability Category II compliant.
