I was a Metropolitan Police officer for 20 years and like most police officers was motivated by the desire to help people/victims and to hold criminal accountable. I have not lost that appetite. I specialised in covert criminal investigation and operations related to the tracking of assets, people firearms and drugs. I was medically retired as a result of serious injuries sustained on duty. Since 2007 I have been involved in the private sector, and over the years have developed a successful model for recovering assets for victims of financial crime and legal professionals and Insolvency Practitioners using civil, criminal litigation and insolvency processes.At Carlton Huxley we assist legal professionals and individuals with a wide range of corporate insolvency investigations worldwide. We work regularly with law enforcement agencies across the globe and at present our investigations include the UK, US, UAE, Cyprus, BVI, Seychelles, Belize, Cayman, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Estonia.My team and I have undertaken enquiries in the USA into allegations of abusive naked short-selling, stock-manipulation such as “pump & dump”, and I have gained an extensive working knowledge of US securities Law as well as the mechanics of the Depositary Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
