He was responsible for Financial Management, Information Technology, Client Accounting and Reporting, Valuations, Asset Management and Business Operations. Bill was a member of BlackRock's Real Estate Global Executive Committee as well as the Chairman of the Americas Investment Committee and Valuations Committee. He also served as the sole inside member of the Board of Directors for the U.S. Open End and Closed End funds. He had also functioned as the head of BlackRock's U.S. Real Estate platform and also as Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure at BlackRock, Real Estate Assets Under Management grew from less than $2 billion to over $24 billion while expanding its business platform to operations in many other countries, including: The United Kingdom; Australia; Luxembourg; France; Germany; Poland; Hong Kong; Singapore; and Japan.Most recently Bill has been providing consulting services to various clients, with services including: developing strategic business plans; product profitability studies; policies and procedures reviews; reorganization consulting; and reviews of lines of businesses.
