Analytical scientist responsible for managing the Analytical Technical Operations testing group within Moderna Tech Dev. I support a wide variety of non-GMP assay testing across the mRNA portfolio being developed within Moderna. Directly overseeing multiple teams responsible for assay support including LC separations, plate based analysis, biophysical CQA determination and Mol Bio assays (ELISA, qPCR) to determine process impurities and process residuals. My team is responsible for interfacing with multiple teams across the Tech Dev landscape including: 1) Analytical Development- for method development/optimization and transfer work, 2) Analytical Science and Technology for assay transfer toward QC,3) Specialized PD teams that deliver samples and need analytical support. Relevant protein based lab skills include:HPLC: SEC, CEX, n-glycan,, Reversed Phase, Peptide Map, Protein Titer, Small Molecule Identification method development (Polysorbate 80, AAA, etc.).cIEF: IgG's and non-traditional mAbs. CE-SDS: Caliper LabChip for both mAbs and nanolipsomal proteins, including method development for PEGylated proteins.CE-SDS: BioAnalyzer for proteinsMass Spec: Intact Mass analysis (Reduced and Non-reduced).Impurity Analysis: HCP, DNA (qPCR), Residual Protein A.SDS-PAGEEndotoxinOctet: Titer and HCP.Automation Platforms: Extensive liquid handling programming experience.
