• Recruited to build an engineering team that developed the Cable TV industry’s first digital set top box with integrated cable modem. Built and managed a group of 11 hardware and software engineers. • Developed a M6800 based bit mapped consumer graphics terminal that supported home banking, home shopping, electronic newspapers, and multi-player games. The latter included real-time 3D perspective scene generation that allowed subscribers to engage in cross network action games.• Supported major cable customers including Cox, Cablevision, Comcast, Rogers, United, and others in their metropolitan franchise bids. Bid email as part of basic service in Sacramento, 1983.• Lead inventor on three network access control patents
