Served 4 1/2 years as an officer in the U. S. Navy and then 6 years in the resort real estate profession as a salesman and sales manager. Retired as a Captain with the Myrtle Beach Police Department after 22 1/2 years serving the last 10 as the Investigative Division Commander over the Detectives, Narcotics, and Crime Scene Sections. Worked in the private investigation profession for 5 years and then 1 year as the Director of Security at one of Myrtle Beach's largest attractions, Broadway at the Beach. Have been serving as an Ministerial Recorder (associate judge) for the Myrtle Beach Municipal Court these past 5 years involved in performing all official court proceedings and records keeping, customer service, conducting bond hearings, and signing arrest and search warrants as an issuing judge. Have agreed to accept a voluntary separation after Sept. 30, 2020 due to budget shortfalls resulting from the Covid 19 virus. Looking forward to a new job opportunity and will not need health or retirement benefits.

Navy Officer for 4 years and then working in resort real estate as a salesman and sales manager, I've retired from the Myrtle Beach Police Department after 22 1/2 years achieving the rank of Captain serving the last 10 as the Investigative Division Commander. I then worked for 5 years in the private investigation and security business as an investigator and sales executive and then 1 year as the Director of Security at Broadway at the Beach. I have been working these past 5 years as an associate judge with Myrtle Beach Municipal Court but have agreed to take a voluntary separation from the City necessitated by budget shortfalls caused by the Covid 19 virus. I am looking forward to starting a new job that will challenge my acquired skills and intellect and am open to any number of varied opportunities.
