Combat Logistics experience: Deployed to Bosnia and Croatia (Operation Joint Endeavor) as the DLA Energy’s Fuels Liaison and resolved complex petroleum re-supply issues while assigned to the NATO staff in Zagreb, Croatia, supported the Air War over Serbia (Operation Allied Force) as Aviano’s Chief of Supply, also deployed to Kuwait/Iraq as the DLA Contingency Support Team Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom managing all DLA commodities and a staff of over 40 personnel.

Lead a 16-person division, resolve daily supply and logistics issues and manage programs including War Reserve Materiel (WRM) and Configured Loads (CL).◾Charged with sole accountability for supplying 150,000 troops in Operation Iraqi Freedom with food, water, fuel, clothing, repair parts and other necessities as on-site Commander of a 30-person team controlling $191 million in DLA resources in Kuwait/Iraq.◾Overcame enormous challenges to ensure constant flow of 2.8 million pounds of food per month to troops despite an 8,000-mile pipeline that required a 60-day transit time complicated by hostile combat conditions.◾Worked closely with manufacturer and procurement officers to compensate for a manufacturing delay and achieve the timely delivery of 300,000 much needed uniforms to troops in Iraq.◾Proactively maintained morale and motivation of largely civilian team to dramatically exceed expectations under severe and dangerous conditions.◾Guided a video crew sent to Kuwait to document the amazing logistical feats achieved by the DLA team, which included delivery of $1.6 billion in supplies and 200 million gallons of petroleum.◾Prepared 4,500 employees for seamless transition to Release 2 of the Business Systems Modernization initiative by developing Order Fulfillment course materiel to enable $700 million inventory reduction. -
