November of 2016, I was promoted to Transportation Supervisor. I am enjoying the challenges that come with the new position. I am also still the SME for the Peoplenet EOBR that we are currently using onboard our trucks.Since June 2014, I have been working on special projects for the corporate office. One of which was the testing and evaluation of a new EOBR system to replace the old system. I am involved with the implementation of our new system to the fleet and to support our Distribution Centers as they come online with the new system.From January 2012 to November 2013 I ran our line haul project out of Canton, MI. I worked with our local vendors to get loads out of Michigan. After that I worked with freight brokers to keep the trucks loaded and moving while still maintaining legal DOT hours. I also maintained our trucks through our leasing agent and sent a weekly budget analysis to our accounting department.As a Senior Lead Driver it was my responsibility to make sure our drivers ran their respective routes as efficiently as possible. This included working with customers to determine best time to deliver product and where to park our trucks to prevent blocking access to the business. When new drivers are hired I taught them our processes and what was expected of them.

As a driver I had to go out and make deliveries and pick-ups. Once back at the warehouse I worked closely with the office to make sure our Hazardous Material loads went out placarded correctly and the line haul drivers had legal hours to run the routes they were assigned to.
