Responsibilities included:• Supervise and mentor the First Warn staff.• Interview, hire, and train on-air talent.• Produce and present weather forecasts and graphics on-air for our 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.• Communicate forecast information to the public through the weather app, social media outlets, and WKBT’s website.• Provide live cut-ins and coverage during severe weather.• Give weather presentations at schools, clubs, and community events and host/sponsor charity events and parades.
