After completing his studies in Mechanical Engineering and gaining practical experience in the gas distribution and offshore energy industries, Bill began his loss adjusting career in 1976 in New Zealand. Over the years Bill has become an Associate of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and is a FUEDI-ELAE qualified Loss Adjusting Expert.Due to his engineering qualifications and experience, Bill moved to Perth in 1990 to service the Western Australian energy, industrial and mining insurance markets. In this capacity Bill has successfully handled a string of multimillion dollar onshore and offshore energy losses involving both upstream and downstream assets located throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. In addition Bill has acquired extensive experience in the handling of all types of operation, interruption and construction claims from industries involved with the exploration and production of iron ore, gold, diamonds, copper, coal, silver, nickel, uranium, bauxite and mineral sands.Having been based in Western Australia for over 20 years Bill has acquired extensive experience in the handling of all types of operation, interruption and construction claims from industries involved with the exploration and production of oil, gas, geothermal power, iron ore, gold, diamonds, copper, coal, silver, nickel, uranium, bauxite and mineral sands. Although based in our Australian office, Bill has dealt with claims arising from such diverse countries and cultures as Africa, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Australia.
