After serving a 4 year indentured apprenticeship - those were the days(!!) - I became self employed in 1981 and set up my own joinery business, WG Joinery, in 1985.I have been fortunate enough to have worked alongside people from many different areas of the construction industry which has kept me up to date not only with the traditional methods but also with the ongoing innovations in the construction industry today.I have undertaken work for the Church Commission, English Heritage, National Trust and some very interesting self builds which have included green technology.
