I'm a creative professional and non profit leader passionate about storytelling and working collaboratively to solve problems in real and imagined worlds. I have a long career in non profit organizations dedicated to the arts and education. A few career highlights from my writing life: • Martin Scorsese signing on to Executive Produce my original script, BASTARD, with Academy Award nominated cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto attached to direct;• Deadline announcing that Ben Foster, Katherine Waterston, and Justice Smith were signed on to star in FLOODPLAIN;• Phoebe Waller Bridge (Fleabag) saying she loved my writing about the OCTOPUS as ALIEN;• Selling my first episodic project, THE NEW KIDS, to Freeform after optioning and developing the idea from Brooke Hauser’s nonfiction book of the same name;• Filmmaker Alexander Payne (The Descendants, Nebraska) reporting that he cried while reading my script THE LONG BLUE YONDER;• Longer ago, I was selected by Hollywood’s Black List and wrote the screenplay for the film, PLUS ONE, a New York Times Critic’s Pick. I also wrote the screenplay for THE QUITTER, which the NY Times described as “a textured, heartfelt drama…a simple story well told.”
