In the role of NC3 Virtual Systems Architect at USSTRATCOM, I design, implement, and manage the NC3 development environment consisting of a complete Microsoft enterprise environment and multiple Linux and Unix virtual servers, as well as various hardware platforms to be evaluated. This environment supports multiple software development teams from several vendors that have been tasked with the various modernization projects for the Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN) programs. This environment also serves as the prototype environment for all of the future USSTRATCOM virtual environments

As the Senior VMWare Consultant, I am responsible with providing various customers from the Federal Government, Local Governments and commercial with professional services. I provide services for a wide variety of VMWare products, specializing in vSphere, Horizon, VMWare Cloud Foundations, and NSX-T.I worked with the sales teams, project managers, and customers to scope and design projects to architect, design, deploy, upgrade, and maintain VMWare products. I designed and deployed software defined networks using NSX-T, I performed NSX-V to NSX-T migrations, I designed and deployed VDI environments using Horizon View, I performed Health Checks on vSphere, Horizon and NSX-T environments, and deployed VMWare based HCI environments for customers in both the Federal, Local and State Governments, Education, and Commercial sectors.

Responsible for the ongoing engineering of the Virtualization effort at USSTRATCOM located at Offutt Air Force Base.Involved in several ongoing projects to create a new Virtual environment to provide cost savings, dependability, and manageability of the current USSTRATCOM environment. Responsible for the ongoing effort to consolidate and improve the current virtual environments. Leading current effort to design and deploy a 12000 seat VMware View VDI environment.

Responsible for several independent Virtual environments for various clients. Was lead in development and management of over 500 Virtual servers running on over 70 hosts at various clients across the US. Clientele ranged throughout industries such as hospitality, sales and marketing, healthcare, and service industries. Accounts included Don Shula’s Hotels and Steakhouses, Benihana Resturaunts Inc., and Crispin Porter + Bogusky, who provides advertising to companies like Microsoft, Nike, Gatorade and others.

Responsible for over 150 servers and SAN units spread across four campuses. Had oversight of Virtualization effort to replace and update aging server infrastructure. Also critical in the network refresh to replace aging HP switches with Cisco equipment at all campuses.

Responsible for over 300 servers and SAN units dispersed across entire county. Currently working with IBM BladeCenter servers, LeftHand SanIQ and EMC500 Fiber Channel storage. I am responsible on a day-to-day basis for our Active Directory environment, SQL, Citrix, BES, Application, Exchange, and IIS servers. Installed and deployed Charlotte County’s first virtual environment, which involved migration from a standalone 1U environment to a BladeCenter with attached FiberChannel and LeftHand iSCSI SANs.I was the first to build an active active failover site using VMware and LeftHand, including creating FOMs that run on ESX vs. VMware server to create a truly virtual and fully functional environment that can survive site loss and Fiber Loss, even prior to the success of LeftHand creating FOM VMs that ran on ESX.
