In this role he was the hiring manager and direct supervisor over 54 employees (faculty, staff, administration, sped coordinators, and directors of development).As Headmaster, Bill improved the faculty org chart, and fostered strong relationships with the parent community. He updated systems to improve teacher work-life balance, and lobbied to improve faculty compensation. His attentive handling of the $4M budget solidified the school's annual position.Bill was a founding faculty member at Archway Classical Academy Veritas. He was a 3rd Grade Lead Teacher. Among this distinguished curriculum and faculty, Bill's teaching was formally regarded as "highly commended".In the second year of the academy, Bill was named the Academic Dean. As the Academic Dean, Bill worked to augment the Archway curriculum through faculty observations and feedback.November 2012 – June 2013: Bill was chosen as a Fellows in the inaugural Great Hearts Fellows Leadership Training Program. In this program, Fellows immersed themselves in principles and practicalities necessary for leadership.Bill is trained and practiced in Singapore Math, Spalding and Riggs Phonics, and Core Knowledge History and Science.As a builder of a sustaining culture, Bill spearheaded the Bard Competition, in which elementary students compete to provide the best recitation of poems they have learned by heart. Under Bill's direction, the Bard Competition grew to include more Great Hearts elementary schools, and is today known as the Great Hearts Bard Competition.

Returning home, Bill began his work in education. As the Director of Religious Education, Bill built, formed, and maintained a team of volunteer catechists (teachers). Realizing that the formation of the teacher is the key to a solid student offering, Bill poured into his teachers; he spearheaded the implementation of a year-over-year formation curriculum for the teachers. He was chosen to implement the catechist formation curriculum for the Diocese of Phoenix. In the classroom, Bill taught high schoolers, parents, volunteers, and professional teachers.He initiated and oversaw the translation of student curricula into Spanish.He lead the RCIA program, and was the Parish Safe Environment Coordinator.In his final years at St. Daniel's, Bill built the system that mapped the 65,000+ homes within the parish boundaries. His system allowed parishioners to ensure they had knocked on every door and was built to finish the task. The parishioners completed the project in 2013.During his time at St. Daniel's, Bill was the Diocese of Phoenix Northeast Deanery Representative of Catechetical Leaders. He served as a liaison between the diocese and parishes, assisted new colleagues in getting their bearings in their positions. It was his responsibility to set the agenda, coordinate, and lead regional meetings of colleagues with diocesan officials.

Bill moved his family across the country to complete his college education. As a non-traditional, full-time student, Bill worked full-time running the men's dorm. Bill made significant contributions to student morale and school culture. When he graduated cum laude, he was awarded the John Paul II Distinguished Service Award.Some cultural contributions Bill made are the following:- Co-founder St. Drogo Coffee Shop for students to enjoy each other's company with inexpensive coffee- Organized the mock trial of Peter Jackson "for the desecration of the Lord of the Rings"- Organized the debate "Can a Catholic Disagree on the Iraq War"- Organized the "Twelfth Night Ball"
