Each day I printed the manifests and customs documents for the shipping and receiving office, and radioed the loading docks when truck drivers arrived each day. I also managed the processing of UPS and DHL orders bound for across and outside of Canada.While I finished my BSc degree at Western University I worked part time in the company store on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My role was to open the store in the morning and ensure all of the product was stocked. Throughout the day I worked as a cashier for employees that came in to shop, and also managed packaging orders for off site employees in Mississauga and some retirees. At the end of the day I printed the sales receipts, took inventory using excel, and placed an order for next week depending on what we needed more of.Currently I work as a Quality Assurance Inspector in the packaging and raw materials lab in which I utilize SAP to locate and retrieve samples from the warehouse to inspect for various defects that do not conform to supplier specifications.
