I am a self-motivated individual but I also thrive in a team environment. My attention to detail and ability to respond flexibly and positively to changing situations are key skills in my current position (as Hydrocracker Complex Control Room Technician) where taking ownership of and helping resolve problems are part and parcel of achieving goals set by the Refinery production planning team.Developing and carrying-out, routine and non-routine, procedures for safe operation of the plants is part of the job, as is, risk-assessing and issuing permits to work for the various craft disciplines, who are also an integral part of the day-to-day running of theHydrocracker complex. I have a full working knowledge of DCS (Honeywell TDC3000 system) and the associated FSC shutdown systems.I am checked-out as an outside operator and also work on the Hydrocracker Complex plants including, the Vacuum Distillation Unit, the Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit, the H2S Treatments Area and the No.3 Flare Area.
