Working with various rally teams across the UK, I've been involved in supporting the motorsport community for many years now, working on World rally cars, Historic and clubman vehicles. Also, i've been lucky enough to own and run our own track car for a number of years.My most recent and frequent motorsport exploits, involve running our two karts. One 125cc Rotax powered sprint racing kart and another twin Honda powered endurance Prokart.

Within this role there was an opportunity to cover long term, team leader absence, which resulted in a joint team leader position, in addition to my existing production/quality control post. Blending these two roles included testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical features, inspection of brought in parts, paint finish and quality, providing me with oversight of the manufacturing process. I worked collaboratively with designers and manufacturing staff to identify, evaluate and resolve key production issues.Key roles and responsibilities- Conducted production line build process of TVM Ticket machines, including electrical and mechanical assembly.- Wiring and software setup.- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification work.- Paintwork and finishing.- Onsite, customer facing service and maintenance visits.- Assisting with organisation of workshop processes, including shadow board, stores, workflow optimisation.- Creating standard production process to assist with training new staff and existing employees.- Regular review meetings with senior management to ensure ongoing compliance with company standards andvision.- Temporary team leader during long term staff absence
