During my time as a Software Engineer at eBay, I had the valuable opportunity to work closely with senior engineers while learning and navigating eBay’s codebase. As a junior engineer, I focused on developing my iOS development skills using Swift and Objective-C, contributing small additions to key features. My role was very much a training experience, where I was responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining clean, well-documented code under the guidance of more experienced engineers. This hands-on experience accelerated my technical growth, as I became proficient in the tools, technologies, and development practices used at eBay.The role involved active collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and design, where I contributed to designing and implementing features that enhanced the user experience.
